I'm obsessed with France. That's the first thing. I'm a city girl at heart, even though I was brought up in a tiny village. I'm quite shy and am trying to change that. I also love literature and one of my favourite things is to sit curled up with a book. I tend to write lists a lot, and apologize waaaaaay too much. Although my culinary skills are about as good as my spelling (put it this way, my spellchecker hates me) I am attempting to learn how to cook some typical French desserts. So far I can manage crépes, but I'm persevering because I like to challenge myself.

- Learning languages: apart from French I know how to count 1-10 in Japanese, some Spanish and would love to learn a bit of conversational German.
